The HANMATEK DOS1104 is the best-value 110 MHz 4-channel bench oscilloscope of 2025 at only €289 — but like 99% of bench scopes, its channels are NOT isolated (all grounds are tied together). This article explains exactly when that’s dangerous, the 5 most common “blown scope” accidents, and the safest, cheapest way to do floating/offline measurements in 2025: pair the DOS1104 with a €69 differential probe. Real tests, comparison tables, and Black Friday bundle (free SF3 stud finder) included.
Very good oscilloscope for the price bandwidth and sampling are as advertised altho the buffer is a bit small and is shared across all 4 channels. Lack of grounding also introduces some noise but at least thanks to that you can run it from a power bank if it supports at least 8w output so you can use it on the go.
Extraordinary performance for very low price - very impressed
Extraordinary performance for very low price - very impressed. I would like to see a clip-on stabilising base though, and would pay more for a 12/16bit version with higher FFT dynamic range.
