Are HANMATEK oscilloscope probes compatible with other brands?
Yes. All our probes (HM5100, HM5060, etc.) use standard BNC connectors and 1×/10× attenuation switching, making them fully compatible with Hanmatek, Rigol, Siglent, Hantek, Owon, Uni-T, and most other mainstream digital oscilloscopes.

What is the difference between the HM5100 and HM5060 probes?
HM5100: 100 MHz bandwidth, 10 MΩ input impedance (10×), 600 V max input voltage – ideal for general-purpose benchtop and handheld oscilloscope use. HM5060: 60 MHz bandwidth, higher sensitivity, includes more accessories (color rings, adjustment tool, ground spring) – perfect for precise low-level signal measurement and education.
-
Do the probes come with calibration certificates or adjustment tools?
Yes. Every probe is individually tested and calibrated before shipment. Each package includes a trimmer adjustment tool for fine-tuning compensation (capacitance adjustment) to ensure flat response and accurate waveforms on your oscilloscope.
-
Can these probes withstand high voltage or be used for automotive testing?
The HM5100 supports CAT II 600 V (10× mode), suitable for household appliances and most automotive electronics (ignition systems, sensors, ECU signals). For true high-voltage automotive ignition testing, we recommend dedicated 100:1 high-voltage probes (available separately).
