What is the difference between green-beam (LV1G) and red-beam (LV1/LV2) laser levels?
Green-beam models (LV1G) use 532 nm green lasers that are 4× brighter than traditional red lasers, making them much easier to see in daylight or over longer distances (up to 25–30 m indoors without a detector). Red-beam models (LV1, LV2) are more budget-friendly and perfectly suitable for indoor use or shorter distances.

How does self-leveling work and what happens if the unit is tilted too much?
All HANMATEK laser levels self-level within ±3°–4°. If the tool is tilted beyond this range, the laser lines will flash rapidly (and an audible alarm sounds on most models) to warn you that the projection is no longer level. You can also lock the pendulum for manual (sloped) line projection when needed.
-
Can these laser levels be used outdoors or over long distances?
Yes. The LV16D 16-line 360° model and LV1G include pulse/outdoor mode. When used with the optional laser receiver/detector (sold separately or in kits), working range extends to 50–60 m even in bright sunlight.

What mounting options and accessories are included?
Every model includes: Magnetic L-shaped bracket (sticks to metal surfaces or can be screwed to a wall) Mini adjustable tripod or 1.2 m aluminum tripod (model-dependent) Target plate and protective carrying case Rechargeable batteries (or AA battery option) + USB charging cable Higher-end kits (e.g., LV16D) also include a liftable platform and remote control.
